An Electrical Engineer is needed to lead the Design and Integration efforts on an advanced missile system at a Lockheed Martin supplier in Chatsworth, California.

The successful candidate will be on site at a Supplier in Chatsworth (Los Angeles), CA. The Engineer will review Test Plans, Reports and CDRL deliveries as well as participate in Circuit Respin Design Reviews. The majority of the effort is to be spent assisting in Supplier Functional and Environmental testing as well as the troubleshooting of Circuit Card Assemblies individually or built up into a Vehicle Management Computer system. The candidate will assure that design meets MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-704 requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the FPGA Designer, SW Lead and Manufacturing/Quality personnel. A Secret Clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with missile architectures and electrical integration of missile subsystems

  • Solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering principals

  • Ability to understand schematics, generate interconnect diagrams and troubleshoot hardware

  • Experience using electronic test equipment

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel to production and customer sites
