Overview

Cracker Barrel seeks to hire a Sr. Ecommerce Analyst who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the end-to-end ecommerce operational infrastructure, ensuring consistent user experience and functionality. This individual will assess and evaluate infrastructure improvement projects to recommend prioritization. Project manages multiple project types. Collects, monitors, and analyzes varying data sources to recommend continuous process and assortment improvements. Responsible for process change communications with impacted stakeholders including guest relations, legal, digital team, and vendors. Creates and manages product data including images, dimensions, copy and pricing. Assists in creative design and site implementation of design. Consults and advises on business strategy, including inventory levels.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure administration and enhancement

  • Oversees the ecommerce platform to ensure and enhance performance.

  • Monitors order management system to ensure consistent functionality.

  • Manages the vendor-direct system to ensure inventory, invoicing, and vendor data are functioning properly.

  • Conducts triage and implements infrastructure solutions.

  • Oversees the review engine system to ensure consistent functionality and integration with the ecommerce platform.

  • Educates management and employees on respective solutions.

  • Responsible for process change communications with impacted stakeholders including guest relations, legal, digital team, distribution center, and vendors.

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of end-to-end ecommerce systems and process.

  • Vendor management including copy writers, photographers, SEO, systems providers, and development services providers.

  • Assists in prioritization of identified system needs and enhancements.

  • Responsible for management of internal and external projects, existing and new infrastructure and systems development projects, and process improvement projects.

Customer service

  • Addresses guest complaints and concerns.

  • Addresses dress code complaints and concerns.

  • Addresses return issues.

Collects, monitors, and analyzes varying data sources to answer question, resolve issues and produce recommendations

  • Data sources may include the follow:

  • Website analytics data

  • Marketing programming data including emails, digital and social marketing, and any other applicable channels

  • Financial reporting

  • Competitive and industry data

  • Customer feedback

  • Addresses questions and advises management regarding solutions to specific or unique use cases

  • Monitors internal and external data for benchmarking and recommendation of new deliverables

  • Conducts analysis and provides input during planning and design phases

  • Designs and implements A/B tests to further recommend system, process, and content enhancements

  • Recommends changes that support the business objectives and performance management strategy

Merchandise presentation, planning and allocation

  • Content creation may include photography, copy or article writing, creation of images for the website, and user experience design

  • Creates and manages product data including images, dimensions, copy and pricing

  • Assists in creative design and site implementation of design

  • Use analytical and other data sources to recommend business strategy development

  • Support planning and allocation in identifying appropriate inventory levels by SKU

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, experience or education in ecommerce, graphic design, systems management, and/or product and data management

  • Excellent written skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient computer skills including strong knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.

  • Excellent flexibility, ability to work on multiple disparate tasks, strong personal motivation

  • Knowledge of retail and ecommerce

  • Experience with user experience

  • Detail and multi-task oriented.

  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings

The Sr. QA Analyst is responsible for leading IT development projects through Cracker Barrel's IT project management process and providing QA expertise across the entire SDLC. This position ensures IT goals and Business goals are aligned and support a quality business deliverable. The Sr. QA Analyst designs, develops, and executes software test plans for Cracker Barrel's Point of Sale systems, back office systems, home office systems, and various interfaces. The ideal candidate will make recommendations for application enhancements, product solutions, or data configuration changes that support company standards and end-user requirements. They will also manage software beta test programs and serves a third tier escalation support to the stores. Responsibilities Project Management and Business Analysis Project Management Lead internal and external IT project teams through completion of the project from initiation through implementation. Remove any project related roadblocks identified by the team as required.Gather project requirements, deliverables and manage deadlines based on business need. As well as clarify any ambiguity until it is understood by the project team. Maintains ownership of the backlog of features and bugs intended for current and future releases.Serve as the Store Systems business analyst on project teams by assisting business partners with successful outcomes by using strong facilitation, communication and analytical skills.Ensure IT goals and Business goals are aligned to support a quality business deliverable. Data Configuration & Business Analysis Analyze, evaluate and prepare recommendations of data management to support the business need.Participates in project team meetings and serves as a system expert for IT. Develops and Executes Software Test Plans and Application Documentation Responsible for identifying all levels of testing required on assigned projects including, but not limited to Functional, Integration, System, Regression and Performance by analyzing business, functional and non-functional requirements as well as utilizing existing system knowledge. Create and maintain test strategies and test plans reflecting those identified tests.Execute manual and automated test plans. Document and manage resolution of software (and/or related data) inconsistencies, defects and bugs found throughout the project.Ensure solutions meet company standards and meets end-user requirements by working closely with development teams and project stakeholders.Escalate issues and participate in mitigating risk.Participate and support implementation of a formal test frameworkCommunicates operational requirements and priorities to IT leadership. Identifies and facilitates technical issue resolution with functional and technical groups Analyze and facilitate issue resolution for more complex incidents reported by Store Support Help Desk or other corporate departments.
