Job Summary:

The Sr Cleaning Technician (Air Duct & IAQ) is responsible for providing air duct cleaning services to residential homes; stocking needed supplies and maintaining company vehicle while adhering to industry and company safety practices.

Scope of Responsibility:
Provides quality duct cleaning and other related services such as deodorization and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) product introductions to our customers. Responsible for day to day coordination of branch duct cleaning services to ensure jobs are completed as scheduled. Works with Branch Manager for innovative ideas on product development and improvement. Completes 2 to 5 jobs each day.

Indirect: Assistant Technician (Air Duct & IAQ)

Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Cleans Air Ducts & Dryer Vents as directed by work order.
Evaluates Work Area's Air Quality and sells appropriate products (furnace filters, air purifiers etc) for the overall improvement of Indoor Air Quality.
Ensures the safe driving of Company vehicles to the next scheduled appointment.
Surveys and discusses in detail with the customer any services to be completed.
Explains and sells as many additional services as desired, if applicable.
Ensures that all pre-assigned jobs are successfully completed.
Completes and reviews invoices with the customer and secures payment for service.
Returns all equipment to the truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment.
Directs Assistant Technician on duties during service calls and assists the Manager in formal training and development of new Duct Cleaners.
Completes all payments / charges while in homes using a tablet.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Experience: HS Graduate or Equivalent
Years of Related Experience: 1-2 Years
Driver's License Required:
Yes
Age Requirement: 18+

Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with Company requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with fellow associates and external customers and assist a wide range of individuals in a variety of functions.
Demonstrated ability of good customer service techniques, which include follow through on all matters of sale. Adept use of a full range of proven selling techniques.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to use power tools and climb ladders.
Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of frequent sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary.
Ability to demonstrate self-control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations.
All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure SHC s compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS).

The Assistant Technician will carry in and set up equipment and tools necessary for the cleaning air vents and dryer vents throughout the residential home. The Assistant Technician will aide the Sr Cleaning Technician in inventory control, directions and all other tasks necessary for successful cleaning of air ducts and dryer vents.JOB SCOPE: The Assistant Technician (IAQ & Duct) assists in the successful cleaning of residential homes HVAC air duct vents and dryer vents.
