Sr. District Sales Manager - Health and Education (West Region)

Locations: San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA OR Phoenix, AZ

The Sr. District Sales Manager is responsible for seeking and maintaining relationships with NICE inContact Sales Partners and identifying sales opportunities and building market share in their regions. This position is required to increase revenue streams in small business, commercial, government, and contact centers.

As a Sr. District Sales Manager, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

  • Meets and exceeds assigned sales quota.

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and current customers and sales partners.

  • Assist and support Sales partners in sales effort by participating in sales calls and closing efforts.

  • Maintain product knowledge by attending weekly trainings.

  • Attends tradeshows.

  • Travels as needed to maximize growth and revenue, while adhering to all inContact travel policies and requirements.

  • If remote from inContact headquarters, maintains appropriate home office within inContact allowances.

  • Makes in person sales calls

  • Interacts with all levels of organization. Makes presentations as necessary to same.

  • Build trust and rapport with current and potential customers.

  • Regularly closes deals and builds future pipeline within or exceeding goals.

  • Completes all inContact paperwork timely - expense reports, sales call logs, etc.

  • Regularly keeps direct supervisor apprised of issues and potential sales.

  • Responsible for meeting monthly sales goals and quotas in order to maintain NICE inContact's monthly revenue goals and forecasts

  • Responsible for accurate representation of all product lines to Sales Partners and customers

  • Travel required 50%.

To Land this Gig You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems, Marketing, Communications or similar field or equivalent work experience required.

  • 15 + years sales experience

  • Previous experience selling multimillion-dollar software deals

  • Previous experience in telecom, call center, software or hardware industries

  • Highly professional demeanor - presence, voice

  • Demonstrated high level competency in written and verbal communications

  • Demonstrated success working with little to no direct daily supervision in a home office setting

Bonus Experience:

  • Sales Engineering experience

  • Telecomm sales experience

  • SaaS experience

This individual will lead account management activities at assigned health plans and develop broad and deep relationships within assigned accounts that will be leveraged to drive defined distribution strategies for DME, Pharmacy and Major Medical Benefits. The CAM will also work closely and collaboratively with the Medtronic field sales team to drive product pull through with providers in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be strategic, creative, and execution-focused, will possess strong leadership and communication skills, and must be highly organized, collaborative and energetic. A DAY IN THE LIFE: * Expand Medtronic Diabetes current contracted base through key account targeting, driving contract pricing to meet goals and create favorable medical policy for current and future technologies * Create territory plan and individual account plans for top health plans within territory * Retain and develop relationships with external payer customers including C-Suite executives and key stakeholders to build organizational partnerships. * Create the customer value proposition and positioning considering industry, customer and competitive factors to value-based targets. * Deliver innovative programs and solutions within targeted accounts that establish Medtronic Diabetes as the preferred diabetes care partner. * Collaborate and work with sales teams in the use of key opinion leaders to influence and drive utilization of Medtronic Diabetes products/therapies/services and solutions. * Develop partnerships between corporate and field sales management to implement business plan strategies and achieve/exceed AOP goals. * Fosters an open exchange of communication between field sales, enabling functions, and business leaders to drive business opportunities. * Define Medtronic Diabetes' value add/value propositions to partner with Medtronic from a top down and bottom up approach. * Execute on all PACE (Price/Penetration, Access, Collectability and Efficiency) activities with assigned payer customers. * Develop strong relationships with the field sales team including all District Managers (DMs) and Territory Managers (TMs) in assigned territory * Develop and lead field sales on pull through programs to optimize payer mix and contract performance * Support DMs on monthly district calls to educate their teams on payer opportunities * Conduct regular field rides with DMs and TMs to provide support to drive product pull through * Develop multiple call points and relationships within assigned territory to ensure best practice 'opportunity to cash' processes are implemented with payer customers * Organize and implement a Medicaid contracting strategy at a state level to include states that have implemented Managed Medicaid programs * Execute other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Regional Director or Senior Director of Health Plan Solutions team * Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, clinicians, specialists, diabetes educators, health service stakeholders and other non-clinical buyers * Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Diabetes products and/or services * Promotes and establishes physician and account education of the company's products and/or services BEHAVIORS SOUGHT: * Proactive with feedback, cultivates relationships inside and outside organization * Applies creativity and ingenuity to find unique solutions to complex problems * Energetic, self-starter who thrives in ambiguous situations * Drives to results * Quantitatively strong: Drive insights and recommendations based on data BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum 3 years of progressive sales or equivalent consulting experience * Healthcare industry experience (i.e. medical device, health policy research, consulting, biotech, life sciences, health insurance, or pharmaceutical) * Prior account management responsibilities in one or more of the following: Integrated Healthcare Systems (IHS), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), Health Systems, Managed Care Organizations, Payers, or equivalent consultant or complex sales experience.
