What you'll do
As a Sr. Director, you are responsible for sales activities for Principal Funds Distribution throughout your territory. You will partner closely with your Internal Wholesaler within the territory for collective success. Accountable for achieving sales targets and broker dealer relationships within all channels - wirehouses, independent firms, and registered investment advisors (RIA's) covering our Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's), Managed Accounts and Mutual Funds.
Other responsibilities will include:
Develop, recommend and execute sales plans, activity reports and rotation schedules.
May provide input on marketing, product development, shareholder/broker communications and integration of campaigns with broker/dealers and fund wholesaling teams.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
2+ years of sales experience required.
5+ years of industry experience is preferred.
FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.
Excellent knowledge of investment products and financial markets required.
Strong listening and consultative skills, advisor management expertise, and analytical analysis are required.
Must have strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Travel required, including overnight stays.
Advanced designations preferred (e.g., CFP, CFA, CIMA, CAIA).
