We are looking for a talented Director, Engineering/Sr Director Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering. This is a advertisement used to manage our leadership pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Director plus level responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• MS or Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

• 10-15 years of experience Director level qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development

• A track record of successfully building semiconductor equipment products under cost and ahead of schedule.

• Proven ability to lead and drive process engineering teams of > 30 personnel through product development and market introduction

• A track record of successfully managing, recruiting, developing, and scaling extraordinary teams.

• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement across operations.

Skills:

• Proven track record in design and delivery of engineering solutions for semiconductor equipment in a multicultural, dynamic, and demanding business environment.

• Capable of analyzing current situation as well as relevant future developments to conceptualize this into a long-term course and direction.

• Ability to create concrete action as well as organize and plan cross departmental and cross organizational activities to ensure timely and full delivery.

• Ability to communicate a complex message clearly and can adjust your style of communication to any audience.

• Ability to build relationships and networks which are key in achieving goals and make effective use of informal networks to get things done.

• Prior experience working as part of a global organization.

• Self-starter with high energy and strong work ethic
