Job Title: Sr. Design Director, Women's Footwear
Reports to: VP, Design
Location: Goleta, CA
The Role
Lead the design vision, strategy, direction, and execution for global Women's Footwear categories for UGG, taking innovative product ideas from concept to market. Collaborate across Design leadership and particularly with Men's Design lead to ensure brand expression is consistent with brand/seasonal direction and across categories. Leverage omnichannel consumer insights, trend, brand and category strategies, as well as merchandising requirements, to define each season's creative product vision and visual vocabulary in support of UGG's financial goals and strategic brand positioning.
Partner closely with category and omnichannel peers to maximize UGG's expression in the market and engage new consumers through the design of best-in-class, sustainable, and inclusive product that unlocks brand value, inspires consumer engagement, and delivers commercial results.

Your Impact
Create and execute the long-term strategic product design direction for the women's footwear category in partnership with brand leadership.
Works across cross functional leadership teams to build product strategy, innovation pipeline, prepare for BOD meetings and interface with ELT on a regular basis.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure highest level product is successfully commercialized to the brand vision, and that the line meets the overall business objectives and financial goals.

We'd love to hear from people with
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Advanced Degree preferred
15+ years of experience
Experience in a leadership role in multiple markets
Experience creating brand and category strategies
10+ years people management
Advanced understanding of construction and process.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Keynote, Keyshot and preferably 3D software.
What We'll Give You
$260,000 - $275,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
