Pacific Seafood is selecting an Excellence-driven leader to join Pacific Seafood as the Senior Director of Supply Chain, responsible for the management and oversight of Pacific's Domestic, International and Sourcing Supply Chain including vertically integrated business/forecast analysis, demand planning, inventory management, procurement, third-party logistics, and co-packing. As a market leader in West Coast wild caught and farmed seafood and other proteins, we are looking for an accomplished business leader with a strategic mindset who can effectively communicate and execute our company vision, develop and grow a team, and sustainably and consistently grow the business year after year.
This position is responsible for focusing the strategic direction of inbound and outbound warehouses as well as our processing centers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maximizing efficiency and productivity of Pacific Seafood logistics, develop short and long term goals in respect with key supply chain and procurement partners, ensuring all processes comply to government regulation requirements, continuously discovering new ways to improve Pacific Seafood logistics, developing a strong operations team, and fostering a culture that is in line with Pacific Seafood's vision and mission.

Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Seafood Group's Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
Develop a deep understanding of the Pacific Seafood strategic plan, business model and the multiple vertically integrated business units; collaborate and align with cross-functional leaders/teams to plan and implement the business strategies of all end-to-end supply chain functions.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and additional cross-functional teams to implement best practices and build sales and operational planning (S&OP) capabilities for global distribution.
In partnership with our executive team, oversee development of forecast analysis and manufacturing requirements planning(MRP) methodologies and workflows.
Educate cross-functional partners on the S&OP process and engage them in the ongoing process.
Manage third party co-packing with a focus on optimizing capacity and service delivery. Develop new strategies to enhance service levels and improve overall performance while reducing costs through productivity and continuous improvement.
Ensure operations meet or exceed business unit KPIs; execute growth plans to achieve net income objectives.
Champion efficiency ideas, cost improvement measures and assist with implementation of changes within areas of responsibility.
Develop supplier network between various locations, ensuring cost effective and timely delivery of goods.
Optimize intercompany purchasing including sourcing and inbound logistics while adhering to intercompany SOPs.
Oversee inventory management and ensure consistent accounting and auditing standards. Work across teams in order to develop and implement new processes in order to streamline procedures and identify discrepancies.
Develop and manage an operating plan that meets or exceeds your supply chain objectives. Determine strategies and tactics for achieving financial objectives, presenting assumptions and recommending objectives.
Support operating units in developing business plans and budgets; establish metrics, review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecasted data to determine division progress toward the organization's supply chain stated goals and objectives.
Oversee operational performance of customer supply chain and logistics operational areas, ensuring quality results in support of sales growth and improvements in operational efficiency.
Strive to continuously improve operations with respect to best practices and effective use of technology for the supply chain improvement.
Develop your team in support of a culture that is energized, engaged, and highly motivated to deliver highest levels of teamwork, productivity, quality and excellence. Ensure implementation of succession planning programs and foster a culture aligned to the values and mission of Pacific Seafood.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related field. MBA is a plus!
Comprehensive and broad knowledge of general business principles, specific supply chain theory and best practice gained through APICS programs.
Minimum ten years of progressively leadership experience, including manufacturing management, procurement/sourcing, contracts, supply chain, logistics, and program/project management.
In depth knowledge of the unique issues and challenges that exist within multi-state and country supply chain, including infrastructure, technology, capacity, regulations, schedules, and transportation.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills in support of metrics.
Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills.
Expert knowledge and experience working with budgets and P&L statements.
Extensive knowledge of bill of materials (BOM) management, manufacturing requirements planning (MRP), and sales and operational planning (S&OP) methodologies.
Previous experience in the food products supply chain management company.
Prior purchasing experience in the food industry, specifically in the seafood or protein categories.
Strong existing networks and relationships with key partners through the continuum of supply chain management.
Prior LEAN management or 6 Sigma with continual process improvement experience.
Experience leveraging industrial internet of (IIOT) for data analysis and key operational metrics including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), availability, and capacity utilization.
