This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and production support of our new Patient Services platform. This is a mission critical initiative that will transform the way we provide support to patients on behalf of our manufacturing clients. The new operating platform will be primarily based on SalesForce.com, and will also integrate additional systems utilizing a micro services architecture and leveraging modern technologies including cloud computing, machine learning, and internet of things.
Plans, coordinates, supervises all activities related to the design, development, implementation of the organization's applications development and analysis function.
Manages multiple development teams supporting different products or lines of businesses.
Directs and guides the managers, reviews different project requests, timeline and cost.
Develops, distributes, supports, enforces, and integrates best practices and technology standards across the organization.
Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
10 years' experience in software engineering
Leadership, innovation and ability to deliver.
Proven experience delivering enterprise wide software applications for large corporations
Ability to interface with internal and external customers at the executive level
Knowledge and experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM technologies
Recognized expert in multiple technological areas or disciplines
Agile software development knowledge and experience. (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of industry trends & new technologies (i.e. machine learning, cloud computing, mobile applications development, internet of things)
Solid business and financial acumen. Responsibility for large budget with demonstration of on-time delivery, on budget, per promised scope, and meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Excellent soft skills to include: leadership, critical thinking ("Start with Why"), strategic, emotional intelligence, and collaborative skills, both horizontally and vertically.
Prior consulting experience with a Big 5 consulting company, preferred.
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
