As our Director of Product Marketing, you'll play a key role in creating GTM materials and empowering our sales team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Messaging and Positioning: Craft and optimize positioning and messaging (including competitive positioning) to equip sales team to close deals, and to deploy through all market-facing communication touch points (website, sales messages, SDR, content, etc.).

  • Product Launch: Quarterback successful product launches from inception, all the way through to a successful launch.

  • Sales & CS Enablement: Equip the sales teams to close deals with messaging, sales strategies, materials, tools, and market knowledge, with the aim of increasing close rates, competitive win rates, decreasing sales cycle length, increasing ACV.

  • Pricing & Packaging: Optimizing pricing and packaging for differing segments to maximize revenue and profitability and increase deal size.

  • Content Strategy: Craft content strategy that addresses each part of the buyer's journey, online and offline, from awareness to decision.

  • Thought Leadership: Build event presentations, write compelling articles, and brief decision makers, all in an effort to dominate mindshare.

  • Partner Enablement: ensure our partners and channels are equipped with the materials, training, and support they need in order to succeed in selling Gong.

  • Competitive Landscape: Competitor intelligence, win/loss analysis.


  • Demonstrated results in product marketing for a B2B tech product

  • Ideally, experience at a company with ARR > $10M

  • Self-driven, high energy, works great with other team members

  • Able to work locally in our SF office

Who is NIS? We are the team delivering a portfolio of IT Products consisting of both mature and emerging data/application integration platforms architected to support the Fed's most important systems. You should also bring experience leading or supporting products/services, as well as complex projects, to completion. Your day-to-day work will help ensure that product releases are delivered on-time and within budget, adhere to quality standards, and meet customer expectations and business needs. Your key area of focus will work with one or more products under our umbrella of integration platform solutions. You will work directly with critical payment offices, dynamic lines of business, as well as key cross-functional partners within the Fed's National IT team. You will collaborate heavily with Product Managers to improve customer experience/engagement, nurture the product backlog, serve as a liaison between product marketing and customers, and maintain ongoing customer-facing documentation, such as roadmaps and product guides. Highlights of responsibilities: * You will be responsible for customer onboarding and feature implementations, cross-functional communication, client engagement and critical partner management for the product. * You will participate in Product planning, especially interfacing with internal customers to identify value we can deliver, and translating that to user stories * You will help lead a Scrum team charged with developing value for a specific Product Line * You will oversee or participate in product related communications to various levels of stakeholders (from technical SMEs to executive teams) * You will progress and manage tasks and delivery across a complex matrix organization with many moving parts * Ensure cross-functional dependencies are identified to establish priorities and mitigate risks of delivery * Identify key opportunities for business or technical process improvement to increase operational efficiencies or reduce costs across the Federal Reserve System Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or similar discipline or equivalent work experience * For Sr. Product Analyst level, at least 3 years of Product/Project management experience with medium to complex Products/programs is required * Familiarity with Product Management practices.
