The Sr. Director of Pricing and FM Solutions supports new business development and client growth pursuits as part of Service Delivery Team for Technology and Manufacturing (TM) Industry Group, reporting to the VP of Service Delivery. The successful candidate will serve as a key-subject matter expert (SME) for cost model development for the many service lines TM provides to the marketplace.
At a minimum, primary responsibilities include:
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop cost-sensitive operating models that result in competitive market pricing leading to profitable growth.
Develop compliant and consistent price files for multiple large and complex solutions encompassing single to multiple facility services.
Ensure estimating and cost-model development consistently represents well thought out solutions with all cost-elements identified and commensurate cost built into the pricing representing ABM' core business systems and department functions: Accounting, Contracting, Operations, Human Resources, Audit, Risk Management, and Legal.
Support of proposal development activities by sales or operations - includes estimating efforts, developing consistent, automated cost/price files (visible formulas), costing, pricing, internal price translated to clients desired presentation, , and supporting deal reviews and process through decision. Efforts will involve a variety of contract types including, but not limited to fixed, cost+, variable, billable rate, and others.
Conduct cost analyses/comparisons and prove reasonableness, realism and completeness while deal is being developed, finalized and transitioned
o Prepare summaries and facilitate internal review through required authorization and commitments policy as required.
Interface with Senior Management, Local Operations, Business Development and Proposal Teams to identify issues, support strategy, identify implement solutions, develop guidance and ensure compliance to internal functions and external agencies.
Prepare and conduct pricing training for both technical and pricing staff members to ensure all stakeholders are knowledgeable and appropriately involved in the process.
Work with Pricing Support Analyst to develop benchmarks useable for continuously improving cost model development and pricing success across individual service lines. This includes developing and maintaining FM industry knowledge of innovations, resources, and available insights to further fuel TM's success.
Perform all other duties or position related duties as assigned or requested.
Associate degree and 5-7 years of related experience or bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a similar level position or in an operations or sales support role with a for-profit facility or commercial real estate services company.
Multiple facility related service experience preferably in an operations or sales support role.
Familiarity of service operations in industrial, manufacturing, life-science, and/or hi-tech environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. (3 5 years in developing workbooks with multiple spreadsheets, visible formula calculations)
Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Salesforce and various other computer programs and technology platforms including email and websites programs.
Strong analytical skills.
