  • Responsible and accountable to manage, monitor and develop the operations of multiple surgical and or hospital departments. Areas of responsibility include but may not be limited to operating room, ambulatory care unit, post anesthesia care unit, and sterile processing. Has fiscal responsibility to manage budgets and lead in multi-departmental financial decision making. Communicates regularly with stakeholders regarding operations and finances. Ensures state, federal and regulatory requirements are identified, monitored and met. Responsible for planning and implementation of strategic growth and improvement opportunities. Manges effectively with Medical Directors and other departments leaders through the effective use of practice leadership. Utilizes effective strategies in identifying, developing, and evaluating work processes, resource consumption and outcomes. The Sr. Director plays a major role in the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and fosters collaborative relationships with the clinical and practice managers, providers and with community-based healthcare partners.

Minimum Education

  • Masters of Science Nursing (MSN).

Minimum Work Experience

  • 5 Years' nursing experience
  • 3 Years' of nursing leadership experience (Surgical Services leadership preferred.)

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed in the State of Vermont (RN).
  • ANCC NE-BC Certification*
  • or obtained within 2 years

Essential Responsibilities: The Sr Lifecycle Operations Engineer role is split between day to day operational support for existing services / users and development of new services. In addition, as the Sr Lifecycle Operations Engineer, you will: Work on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business Act as advisor and coach to junior team members Lead teams of contractors to deliver complex technology solutions Communicate across direct organization and across the IT function in area of expertise Present to business leaders in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy Design, implement, support, monitor and maintain Rutland's Data Center, including but not limited to: * server and storage hardware * LAN and WAN services * VOIP services * electrical supply (UPS, Generator) * cooling and fire suppressant systems * and ensuring availability of infrastructure services Design, implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure software platforms, including but not limited to: * server / client operating systems * database services * reporting platforms * vpn * Cisco infrastructure * and all other software based systems Develop operational, installation, configuration and upgrade documentation for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, software and other computer related systems Serve as a liaison between other technical staff, management, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters Provide on-site or remote access diagnoses and resolution of computer hardware and software problems Provide subject matter expertise, advice and consultancy for assigned technology and infrastructure systems Evaluate infrastructure services equipment and software for purchase Recommend new configurations, provides training or arranges for vendor training for system users Develop cost estimates and makes recommendations for systems development and upgrades to existing systems Collaborate on GE IT infrastructure projects and drives Brilliant Factory architecture through successful implementation and hand over to operational support Server patching / preventative maintenance on all systems Provide local desktop support leadership and take part in the 24 / 7 On-Call IT leadership rotation and driving implementation of the Brilliant Factory reference architecture Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology) Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project and Program Management ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
