We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Director of Loan Oversight

• Accounting and Finance. This position will have indirect responsibility for collaborating and providing functional oversight with the designated internal Snap team members from Accounting and Finance running the daily processes/program requirements set forth by the bank partner and reporting back to the GM of Loan. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned loan expert with a proven track record of success in managing accounting and financial oversight for consumer loan products, particularly heavy experience in the subprime lending space and LoanPro (system of record). This person has a drive to innovate and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership and Vision:

• Develop and communicate a clear vision of bank requirements for all dotted line resources assigned to work on the banks loan program from Accounting and Finance departments.

• Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure loan strategies align with financial goals and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to drive growth, profitability, and risk management initiatives.

• Provide guidance and support to Accounting and Finance teams to meet bank expectations.

• Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with the Accounting and Finance teams to align consumer loan strategies with all bank program requirements (reporting, forecasting, etc.)

• Serve as a liaison between the bank team and the Accounting/Finance teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and performance.

• Communicate loan product strategy, updates, and performance metrics to the bank partnership team.

• Performance Analysis and Optimization:

• Define and track key performance metrics and KPI's for all Accounting and Finance team deliverables within the bank loan program.

• Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, etc.

• Industry Thought Leadership:

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies and best practices related to subprime lending space.

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and vendor stakeholders supporting the loan program; including but not limited to Payix, LoanPro, Carmel, etc.

• Stay informed on regulatory requirements and changes and communicate those in partnership with Compliance to internal direct and dotted line stakeholders.

• Proven track record of senior leadership within the consumer finance section with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the subprime lending space.

• Deep experience with LoanPro, with at least 5 years of direct experience using the system to manage a lending business.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree

• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements within the consumer lending environment.

• Deep understanding of subprime loan products, lending processes, and regulatory requirements

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex sets, draw insights and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with completing deadlines.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
