You will also help strategize and execute a combination of initiatives with HR executives from across the Walmart enterprise that enable us to continue to push the boundaries of how HR is designed and delivered. Position Description

  • You are a dynamic leader with great communication skills. You have a proven track record of success building executive-level relationships and delivering results.

  • You love to push boundaries, break from tradition and recommend bold ways to solve the toughest business problems.

  • You are data driven and have depth of experience in scaling top talent tech and product teams.

  • You are innovative and creative but know how to define, measure and manage to quantifiable metrics towards specific HR goals.

  • You know how to build, develop, manage and motivate matrixed teams across the HR spectrum

  • Leading, managing, and developing a high-performance HR team to deliver talent results aligned with strategy and long-range planning.

  • Providing HR leadership to all of SamsClub.com, Membership and Marketing across a breadth of areas including talent management, employee development, performance management, and change management

  • Defining and partnering to delivery our SamsClub.com's talent strategy to uniquely and powerfully set us apart from eCommerce industry competition

  • Lead the successful and consistent implementation of HR strategies, program and initiatives

  • Work with leaders to create positive, safe and productive work environments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 8 years experience in human resources or related field

  • Experience working with remote businesses

  • 4 years of supervisory experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources Certification (for example, PHR, SPHR, GPHR).

  • Coaching Certification (for example, Coaches Training Institute).

  • Product methodology training (for example, agile, sprint planning, JIRA).

Essential Responsibilities: * Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization's human resource function and performance. * Participates in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people. * Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans. * Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items affect the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of the people resources of the organization. * Partners with the leadership team to improve employee satisfaction and engagement by identifying and responding to employee concerns and coaching senior leadership to develop people leadership skills in others. * Develops progressive and proactive compensation and benefits (total rewards) programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance. * Develops programs to allow the organization to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees. * Develops human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to fill the identified gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities, and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business of the company. * Identifies accountability best practices and appropriate reporting metrics for the business that support goals and objectives. * Continually assesses the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets. * Establishes credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues. * Enhances and/or develops, implements and enforces HR policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization. * Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions. * Achieves financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets and managing expenditures; accountable for technology and resources to improve productivity and efficiency. * Builds a Human Resources team capable of constructing organizational capabilities that contribute to the competitiveness and high performance of the company.
