Sr. Director, Global Product Portfolio Corn And PLM Excellence, Texture Solutions Food

The Senior Director, Global Product Portfolio Corn and PLM Excellence, TS Food is responsible for the product management of all Food Corn Starches Texture Solutions, which are Ingredion Global Texture Solution (GTS) biggest line of product with ~$1.9 B revenues globally and ~$1.4 B in the GTS Reporting Segment. As part of a global team, this role contributes to the realization of Ingredion Winning Aspiration to be the customer-preferred texturizing and healthful solutions supplier and thought leader through our broad portfolio, extensive customer insight and market-leading cost-in-use position that addresses consumer expectations spanning affordability, premiumization and/or clean label requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Regularly analyze portfolio performance: monitor and steer profitability and manage portfolio lifecycle.

• Deliver short & medium-long term value creating opportunities, e.g., investments for growth opportunities, new applications, portfolio expansions, new value propositions, etc.

• Drive 5 years strategic plan of the portfolio: identify long term demand trends and build business case for asset investments.

• Lead / participate to P2W Charters as required.

• Coordinate Ingredion approach and strategy for clean label texturizers with input from other stakeholders.

• Close collaboration with the regional Texture Solutions Business Managers for local execution of the afore mentioned strategies/action plans.

• Provide pricing guardrails and target margins per geography and product group to regions and Pricing CoE. Optimize global sourcing / pricing structure guided by global profit attributable.

• Interpret the competitive and go-to-market intelligence as it relates to specific product portfolios.

• Global SME on portfolio: elaborate Value Propositions as support of Marketing Communication and Pricing strategies.

• Decision maker of the product allocation at constrained assets - working with the Product Line Managers (PLM).

• Allocate the pool of analysts according to the priorities of the Product Leaders / PLMs team.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering or equivalent, or Business Degree. MBA preferred.

• Significant food or chemical industry experience with strong business and financial acumen

• Strong background in business development. Capable of understanding customers' needs and ability to capture subsequent value through solutions.

• Ability to develop and execute business strategies for product lines and portfolio.

• Experience managing a global team.

• Flexibility to travel globally approximately 15-25% of time.

• English fluency, both written and spoken.
