We are looking for a highly motivated & passionate technology leader to join the BakerHughesC3.ai global services team. In this role you will lead the data science practice in the Global Services team. This role will focus on delivering innovative enterprise-grade industrial analytics products for transforming the O&G industry. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of highly talented multi-disciplinary data scientists and data integration specialists as well as collaborating with a team of application developers and solutions architects in the regional Global Services teams.
As the Sr Director
Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of most common machine learning techniques and their application. You will also understand the limitations of these algorithms and how to tweak them or derive from them to achieve similar results at large-scale.
You will work closely with Product Management & Digital Strategy teams both internal to BHC3 and with customers to arrive at the overall strategy & delivery plans of various features in our customers' digital transformation roadmaps. You will be responsible for shaping technology, product, and service roadmaps in alignment with business strategies. You may manage other managers or individual contributors in global regional locations. You will also be responsible for developing and coaching employees within the function.
In the role of Sr Director
Drive adoption of Deep Learning systems into next-generation BHC3 products
Design and deploy Machine Learning algorithms for Oil and Gas applications such as product reliability, predictive maintenance, and production optimization
Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from BHC3 and its customers to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correct use new data elements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited college or university OR ( High School Diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience in a Data Science
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Science
Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning, deep learning with time series data)
Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
Experience with scalable ML (MapReduce, streaming)
Ability to lead a team and projects. May work both independently and in a team
Smart, motivated, can do attitude, and seeks to make a difference
Excellent verbal and written communication
Knowledge in electrical engineering and cyber-physical systems is a plus
