About this position:

The Finance & Strategy team is the global champion for smart growth & operational alignment - delivering financial predictability & control, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions and resources, and shareholder success. The role will support executive team and the CFO on decision support around the financials of the company.

This role will initially manage a team of 4 full time employees, plus cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the annual planning, quarterly outlook and monthly forecast processes for the company. Partner with other F&S teams to ensure integrity of our financial forecasting processes

  • Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risk, and communicate key messages to senior management

  • Inform CFO and executive committee on current financial state of the company

  • Partner with Investor Relations on quarter and year end activities

  • Finance Business Partner for the CFO and central point of contact for other global finance functions including Tax, Treasury, Accounting, etc. partnering with senior leadership to build deep relationships

  • Innovate and scale repeatable business, financial and operational processes that enable efficiency while facilitating cross functional alignment

  • Subject matter expert for Hyperion/Essbase implementation to maximize F&S efficiency

  • Financial Analyses and Reporting Use financial and business metrics to evaluate investment priorities and potential alternatives

  • Develop strong understanding of salesforce business model and be able to translate into financial impact

  • Own total company FX planning for the P&L, managing FX exposure and tracking the financial impact

  • Manage worldwide billings, unearned revenue and current remaining performance obligation forecasting processes, partnering with internal stakeholders to understand drivers and inform external guidance

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas

  • 8-10+ years of related experience, preferably in a leadership role within a Finance and/or Operations organization

  • Experience leading teams, serving as a mentor and coach to employees

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to drive alignments on priorities with senior management

  • Strong customer service orientation and a desire to help others succeed

  • Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience running analysis using salesforce.com, Hyperion/Essbase, and/or Business Objects is a plus or other BI tools

  • Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, flexible, positive, fun, and responsive

About this position: The Finance & Strategy (F&S) organization is looking for a Senior Director who is passionate about business metrics. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Operations Finance & Strategy, and will be responsible for reporting critical metrics for the company including ACV (incremental ARR) and attrition (churn). These metrics are vital to accurately predict revenue in a SaaS model. This data receives significant visibility from the C-suite and this role will play a key leadership role in F&S and the company. They will work cross functionally to drive alignment, governance and standardization across the company. They play a critical and objective role in treatment of top line metrics. This role will initially manage a team of 8-10 full time employees, plus cross-functional project teams. Responsibilities: * Drive the reporting of two business metrics - ACV and attrition * Lead best in class adoption of Salesforce analytics cloud * Lead a team to standardize ACV and attrition definition and governance to be aligned with revenue recognition * Partner cross functionally to plan, forecast, and report these metrics. Deliver financial insights as a trusted adviser to the C-suite and company leadership * Transform system processes with an eye to automation, integration, and scale * Oversee integration of acquired business revenue KPIs into core ACV and attrition reporting/forecasting processes * Define, report, and provide insights around management reporting KPIs (e.g. New/Lost Logos) * Identify opportunities to improve how data is used through data structure, transparency, and delivery Required Skills/Experience: * Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas * 8-10+ years of related experience, preferably in a leadership role within a Finance and/or Operations organization * Experience and understanding of the SaaS business model. * Experience leading teams, serving as a mentor and coach to employees.
