The Sr Director of Compensation will have the opportunity to be part of growing and transformational team. This position will be a highly strategic partner and consultant with leaders and executives to ensure our compensation programs are competitive, equitable and aligned to business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the compensation team to support the strategy, design, development, and implementation of CHG's compensation processes and programs
Work as a strategic and consultative partner to CHG leaders across the organization to make recommendations that align to best practices while supporting the goals of our divisions
Create close working partnerships with leaders across the organization to influence change where needed
Partner with divisions to address compensation challenges and concerns, including but not limited to talent retention, internal compression, and market competitiveness
Partner with divisions to design and administer sales incentive plans aligned with business objectives and talent strategy while ensuring consistent and market-driven compensation levels.
Lead the compensation team through key enterprise-wide processes (such as annual merit, short-term incentives, sales compensation planning etc.)
Understand business dynamics and create overall compensation strategy to support key business objectives and goals
Identify and propose modifications and enhancements to our total rewards programs to address our employees' changing needs and the competitive environment for talent in our industry.
Create close working partnerships with executives across CHG to understand current business challenges as it relates to compensation
Lead market research efforts and annual reviews of the compensation framework, including evaluating and benchmarking jobs, providing recommendations for compensation and incentive programs, and reviewing overall market competitiveness
Lead communication and change management initiatives related to total reward programs
Manage employee development by setting and evaluating goals, providing feedback, and employing techniques to enable employees to realize their potential
Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of compensation plan design and implementation including all supporting processes
Thorough understanding of sales compensation programs and best practices
Ability to manage up and down the organization including at the executive level
Results oriented, highly collaborative, and excellent attention to detail
Excellent planning and prioritization, problem solving, and business partnering skills
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Self-driven and capable of working with senior leaders, members of the HR team, and cross-functional partners throughout the company
Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study
Minimum 10 years compensation or related experience, preferably in a medium to large global company
7 years of management experience
5+ years of sales compensation management
Experience working with a Human Capital Management System (HCMS); Workday preferred
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent preferred
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $143,400 -- $310,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission+ bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
