Reporting directly to the Head of Global Product Management, the visibility is off the charts for this role as the leader for our Cloud optimization/migration product portfolio.
Leading the cloud product management team will include hiring, mentoring and coordinating the work of the team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring that these products deliver tangible customer value and align internal stakeholder groups including sales/solutions engineers, customer success, engineering, and support. An important part of your strategy will be driving further integration of your product set with other Flexera products and likely future acquisitions.
You will need to deliver business outcomes, usability, 'fit for purpose' and market success delivery of the product and features falls. You will be a key decision maker in priorities, strategies, and design decisions throughout the lifecycle.
The growing move to the cloud continues to affect organizational structure. Organizations continue to build central cloud teams and centers of excellence to best leverage in-house expertise, especially in managing and optimizing cloud costs. The lack of visibility into which leads to wasted spend. Many organizations also struggle to manage multiple cloud instances, and the additional array of services in their environment. Further, the growth of hybrid cloud instances is leading to greater complexity in the IT environment making it even more difficult to manage.

Driving portfolio-level strategy, cross-product priorities, success metrics, and go-to-market plans
Lead or oversee customer research and market feedback on products/features/pricing/competition
Coach your product managers through an engaged and active agile process with their development/design teams
Work with executives to set and review product plans, acquire teams/resources and develop a shared view of requirements, business value and priorities
Work with peer leaders (especially engineering, design and marketing) to build cross-functional trust and collaboration
Works with architects and UX to understand technology and user trends
UseKPIs and product lifecycle, win-loss analysis and sales effectiveness to inform decisions
Lead all go to market activities (pricing, packaging, channel and sales enablement) and work with marketing to build and deliver content
Works with the Product Managers on the team to understand competitive landscape and apply competitive factors to the priorities and order of attack
Establish processes for direct customer/user input, cross-product initiatives and prioritization, hiring/mentoring product managers, and increasing visibility of roadmaps
The right candidate will have already led a product management team, and have substantial experience as a B2B/enterprise product manager:
Experience supervising product managers (at least 3 direct reports) on revenue software for enterprises; experience managing UX/designers is a big plus
Defining and designing a product management team: hiring, coaching, role definitions, assignments/division of labor
Experience building strategies, goals/metrics, priorities and roadmaps for a cloud product set
Ownership of a B2B/enterprise product through several releases.
Demonstrable knowledge around agile development processes, enterprise release cycles, UX/design, and go-to-market for new products
Specific product knowledge around B2B software asset management, cloud deployment, containers, or "big enterprise" applications such as ERP, software configuration, network security, and application performance management is a very big plus
