As a Senior Director for the Complex Chronic Care Product Innovation on the Transformation team, you will be accountable for identifying and implementing a body of work to improve the cost of care, drive quality, and enhance the patient experience for individuals with complex chronic conditions. The complex chronic care solutions we develop will harness the power of our enterprise capabilities including our ~10,000 pharmacies, ~1,000 Minute Clinic locations and many other enterprise assets including Caremark, Specialty, Accordant, Coram and Aetna.
This leader will oversee the identification, development, and production of products and capabilities to support complex chronic patients from idea to implementation with a specialized focus on ensuring products meet customers' needs and can be commercialized and scaled. You will be responsible for creating value for CVSHealth and for our stakeholders by measuring leading indicators, driving health outcomes, and ultimately reducing medical cost. Areas of focus will include:
Shaping the complex chronic care strategy, developing strategic roadmaps, designing solutions, and driving continuous improvement and ongoing innovation as the program evolves
Demonstrating deep understanding of the many customers we serve including our patients and their caregivers, providers, and payors
Building strong partnerships and collaborating across the enterprise with senior leaders from sales and marketing, product development, clinical services, operations, technology and analytics
Synthesizing analytics, medical literature reviews, expert interviews, observations and pilot data to confirm overall opportunity size, target population, and specific clinical opportunities
Identifying, defining and communicating business challenges, opportunities, risks and issues while developing the appropriate recommendations to address those challenges, realize value, and mitigate risks and issues
Recruiting, hiring and developing diverse product resources to support creation and delivery of complex chronic solutions
Leading teams through exploration and conceptual design, solution development and problem solving, testing hypotheses and measuring results to develop recommendations for senior leaders
Using superior written and verbal communication skills and logic to prepare and present content for the business in a way that is easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise, facilitates the right dialogue and decision making, and improves the operational efficiency of the business
Bachelor's degree required
Master's or other advanced degree preferred
