This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr. Director, you will be responsible for:

  • In your activities you will drive business line goals and objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability, market penetration, and other various areas.

  • You will be the primary liaison to Strategic Corporate Accounts and Federal Accounts, influencing contract strategy with tailored offers and value-adds and ensuring post-sale continued success of the XP portfolio.

  • You will collaborate with team members from Strategic Corporate Accounts, Federal Accounts, Business Line, and Field Sales with strategic development and execution of all marketing programs, operational strategies, price positioning, managing customer relationships, and customer satisfaction.

  • You will create strategic plans and develop programs aligned with business line strategy with involvement of both local and global business line leadership where appropriate.

  • You will adapt global and local product messaging and drive standardization messaging for each Strategic Corporate Accounts and Federal Accounts.

  • You will explore opportunities to pilot XP initiatives within key IDN's and GPO's at the Region and Zone level that will enhance Siemens XP value proposition for that IDN/GPO.

  • You will manage the Alternate Partner channels and will be accountable for partner performance to meet business line goals and objectives.

  • You will explore untapped entrepreneurial market segments to expand XP growth and footprint.

  • You will communicate campaigns, programs, and pricing to key stakeholders.

  • You will make decisions on administrative and operational matters and ensure effective achievement of objectives.

  • Willingness to travel and flexibility, is expected.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum of 5-8 years customer relationship or business management experience in the field of Healthcare.

  • Willing to travel up to 30%.

Duties and Responsibilities * Evaluation of new business opportunities and technologies to support Ocugen's Corporate Development activities * Manage, select, evaluate, and negotiate business development, partnership and collaboration strategy and execution * Lead the due diligence and closing of all business development transactions * Work with R&D and other groups to manage the IP portfolio and trademarks and related filings and renewals * Develop and deliver impactful presentations to key stakeholders * Collect and analyze information regarding market evolution, competitors, and technology trends * Evaluate the competitive landscape and perform SWOT analysis for all programs * Work cross functionally with Clinical, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory to structure and maintain successful partnerships * Drive and support legal activities related to corporate development deals, including but not limited to: CDAs, MTAs, License agreements, Development and Partnership agreements * Manage the corporate data room * Perform or participate in special projects or ad hoc assignments Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering or relevant study required, M.B.A., M.S. or Ph.D. in a technical discipline valued. * 8+ years business development experience in industry setting. * Demonstrated quantitative and strategic thinking aptitude. * Advanced corporate finance, modeling, and project management skills. * Experience structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions. * Strong capabilities in understanding and structuring complex transaction documents. * Ability to partner with attorneys and other deal professionals in developing and evolving transaction structures, integrating due diligence findings and driving successful negotiation outcomes. * Excellent communication (written and verbal), leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. * High level of organizational and time management skills and attention to detail. * Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills required. Working Conditions Incumbent will primarily work Monday - Friday during normal business hours in an office environment. Additional hours (i.e., overtime) may be needed during peak periods.
