Sr. Director, Brand Strategy & Management

The Senior Director, Brand Strategy and Management develops and implements strategies to strengthen the Equifax corporate brand platform and positioning globally, and drives awareness, understanding and application of brand standards across all regions, cultures, and time zones. This creative marketer will bring to the role a balance of strategic thinking, decision-making, creativity and process discipline.

This role reports to the Vice President, Brand Marketing and will be a hybrid workplace model offering the flexibility to work remotely as well as in our global corporate HQ in Midtown or in our beautiful office complex in Alpharetta, GA! We are 3 days in-office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days WFH. (This is not a fully-remote role)

What You'll Do:

• Lead by example, serving as enthusiastic brand ambassador to drive awareness, understanding, adoption and support for Equifax brand platform and standards

• Define and implement a Brand Review process that is clearly understood by all key stakeholders. Define strategy for, write and publish regular Brand Updates to associates

• Drive development and regular updates of Equifax corporate materials, such as collateral templates, presentation templates and other foundational materials

• Work in collaboration with Corporate Communications to establish a framework for regularly communicating brand news and develop brand-level marketing campaigns as necessary

• Facilitate branding/naming process for Equifax

• Drive process awareness and discipline, branding/naming development, and definition of usage standards

• Implement strategies for ongoing management of new and acquired brands, including the establishment of brand roadmaps, attributes and visual identity standards

• Lead M&A integration efforts specific to Brand Management

• Work in partnership with Corporate Real Estate to establish and maintain brand standards for physical locations

• Ensure new brands/names align with Equifax brand architecture and our descriptive naming approach.

• Support development of corporate brand platform and positioning, and enhance its application across all strategy and execution touch points ensuring that brand voice, messaging and visual identity are consistent throughout Equifax materials and web properties

• In collaboration with the Creative Director, oversee the Agency Partnership program, ensuring creative and editorial agencies are on boarded effectively and maintain a high service level, delivering at the highest standard

What Experience You Need:

• 10+ years of experience in brand strategy function, brand management and creative services, including brand architecture development and positioning

• Bachelor's degree is required (marketing, business, or related field)

• Proven experience in driving communications campaigns that drive business results

• Proficient understanding of brand strategy functions as it relates to customer and stakeholder experience/perception and employee engagement

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment switching from strategic thinking to process rigor and apply both effectively

• Ability to translate ideas into effective communications programs that support brand leadership

• Understanding of the financial services industry and specific lines of business

• Experience managing direct reports

• Product Naming and/or M&A experience is a huge plus, but not required

• Experience working in a large, matrixed organization with exposure to SLT/C-Suite
