StubHub's Global Trust, Payments and Policy team is responsible for minimizing adverse experiences for our customers, marketplace, and non-customers alike. We ensure fans everywhere can trust the StubHub marketplace. We need some help to manage this more efficiently, so we're seeking an executive to lead this critical department. This role will lead all facets of Global Trust, Payments, and Policy.

What we'll ask of you:
Provide executive level leadership and strategy for a global team consisting of multiple operational functions in the US, Europe, and APAC. Currently, this role has ~190 direct and indirect professionals with a mix of hourly work staff through senior managers
Design and lead the execution of all facets of risk management: operational, financial, reputational. This includes all components of designing, developing, implementing, execution, and monitoring all types of solutions that minimize risk while reducing friction for the business to grow
Use your deep understanding of risk principles to be the subject matter expert to the Leadership Team on a multi-year journey by being a evangelizing for a best in class risk organization, and building critical partnerships with the business, P&T, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, and Engineering
Balance risk controls and fan experiences by optimizing state of the art solutions including global buyer and seller models, manual review, policies, broker outreach, voice of the customer, voice of the business, and your own experience at being the senior risk leader for a marketplace driven business
Acting as the 'connective tissue' ensuring that the evolutionary development of current Product capabilities complements future, non-evolutionary Product capabilities currently in early development
Be a world class culture leader by advocating for the customer in all facets of your role
Manage globally with the goal of building a world class leadership team that will propel global capabilities
Own and drive a global risk management product and engineering roadmap with emphasis on cost-benefit analysis of internal and externally derived tools, tool sets that translate easily to multiple regions, currencies, languages, and capabilities
Invoke and drive a process excellence mentality that allows the business to scale without people-intensive solutions
You should already be:
Understand and be able to lead multiple facets of operations and strategy including payment functions, policy creations that drives specific outcomes by customers and align with business goals, legal tolerances, global marketplaces, CART, SVM, neural networks), queue operations, product functionality, global legal implications (OFAC, anti-money laundering, ACH and credit brand policies, sanction screening)
Expert level transactional risk management with an understanding of the performance measurement of risk management techniques by incorporating best practices based on your experience and the nature of StubHub's business model
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex quantitative information into presentations that are easily understood by the president and leadership team while advocating for a strategic course of action
Executive presence, excellent people coach, and be seen as demonstrating our values and culture in all that you do
We'd like to see:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, science, accounting, finance, or other quantitative discipline required
15+ years of experience in operational leadership at progressively higher levels of responsibility leading global functions, product engagement, with business wide financial goals
Executive level presence in decision making and proscribing a direction at the senior executive level, demonstrated ability to forge strong working relationships and build consensus at all levels of the organization
Must demonstrate knowledge in decision analysis techniques and comfort with handling issues involving risk and uncertainty.
Passionate leader with the ability to inspire followership and demonstrated experience at building world class leadership teams, functions, and operations
