About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Digital Category Manager to join our Digital team. This individual will lead the execution of the product life cycle on the website, co-own the testing of our promotional experiences, and driving a customer-focused shopping experience with appropriate end-to-end click through journeys from channel marketing to checkout. The Digital Category Manager will be responsible for collaboration with the merchants, photo studio and the Director of eCommerce in timely go-live of product to the website, revenue driving customer browse experience, and provisions to marketing teams of the best landing experiences for promotional and non-promotional campaigns that focus on optimizing engagement and increasing conversion. Primary responsibilities include partnership with Director of eCommerce and merchants on product sample processing and successful publish to site; testing of email marketing pre-tests and site promotions; and increasing category growth with internal and external tools to drive sales and KPIs. This position will need someone who is confident to take ownership of their assigned areas of responsibilities with guidance from their director, but who is resourceful in seeking out answers and solutions with the tools and additional partners present.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Leads the end-to-end product life cycle including tracking of product attribution accuracy, product copy, imagery and placement into site catalog.

  • Partners and supports Site Experience Manager on content and experience planning to support promotions and new product launches.

  • Will have select category ownership for the success in sales growth against budget plans and forecasts by providing feedback on performance to their director, suggesting opportunities for improvement and execution of game-plan.

  • Shared responsibility with Site Specialist for troubleshooting and resolving promotional issues with IT and business team to build winning promotional landing pages.

  • Provides feedback and improvement recommendations to enhance customer's shopping experience, including but not limited to optimizations based on customer reviews, product performance, business goals, filter engagement, etc.

  • Develops sound recommendations for site enhancements to improve customer experience through site search, navigation and display

  • Contributes to UAT process for all new site enhancements with eCommerce and cross functional teams

  • Utilizes analytics to make data-driven and/or informed decisions or recommend insightful actions that affect shopping & navigational experience. Comfortable generating reporting and can decipher data to provide context of what the data is telling us.

  • Performs daily site audits to ensure accuracy of promotions and experiences

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Responds to customer service inquiries for our internal call center

What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

  • 8 years of experience in eCommerce or any D2C commerce company. (Apparel industry preferred, but not required)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines.

  • Very detail oriented with ability to multi-task and maintain organization.

  • Work well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization

  • Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure.

  • Comfortable pivoting when needed to react to business trends.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily

  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally

  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work environment from our Dublin California office

The starting salary for this position is $100,900 - $134,500 and may increase to $160,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
