Sr. Devops Engineer (Sportsbook) Remote

We're seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in developing and maintaining our industry-leading sportsbook platform. You'll be responsible for automating our infrastructure deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems in GCP.

Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Golang scripting

● Manage and optimize our CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket pipelines and ArgoCD

● Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters in GCP for deploying and scaling containerized applications

● Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for provisioning and managing cloud resources

● Automate deployments, rollbacks, and disaster recovery procedures

● Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger

● Configure and maintain logging and alerting systems

● Collaborate with backend engineers and other teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality

● Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role

● Proven experience in sportsbook development (a plus)

● In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services

● Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, particularly Bitbucket Pipelines and ArgoCD

● Strong understanding of containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes

● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform

● Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis)

● Experience with messaging queues (Apache Kafka)

● Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger)

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

● Strong communication and collaboration skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Points:

● Experience with GitOps methodologies

● Experience with cloud security best practices

● Experience with infrastructure testing tools

● Good understanding of Golang
