As a Dev/Ops Engineer, you will make an impactful contribution to delivering a new kind of healthcare platform, one built specifically for the clinical team. From design to implementation, you will partner with our stellar engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to transform ideas into reality. Utilizing modern methodologies and open-source tools, you will be empowered to push the boundaries of development as we seek to deliver applications that will directly and immediately impact the experience of our teams and our patients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all aspects of the deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure of the Canopy Dev/Ops ecosystem at the Internet scale.

• Experience with cloud-native, enterprise-scale environments, we use Azure

• Troubleshoot issues in our infrastructure stack including Kafka, K8s, GitOps, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc

• Build out environments and keep them running

• Experience DevOps / IaaC

• Staying up to date with vulnerabilities and outages

• Provide technical expertise to all cloud systems, deployments, upgrades, and initiatives to other teams

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs in the face of infrastructure continuous improvement

• Consider the product development team, your users, and the organizationâs success as your goal

• Insightful and curious about trends and solutions in enterprise infrastructure and cloud computing

• Knowledgeable of networking concepts

• Experience with CI/CD

• Other duties as assigned

Weâre looking for a motivated Sr. Dev/Ops Engineer I with:

• Bachelor's degree in CS or closely related discipline/industry experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering

• 3+ yearsâ experience building consumer-facing products with large distributed systems deployed in the cloud

• 2 years of software development experience on SAAS, e-commerce, or other high-scale, high-availability software projects - must be able to write code in multiple languages

• Experience building resilient, scalable, and secure shared infrastructure

• Experience interfacing with databases

• Experience in building a distributed, event-driven, cloud-native environment either in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes preferred

• professional certifications favorable

• Infrastructure as Code and automation are your first approaches to solving platform issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required

• US work authorization
