Position Purpose

The primary role of the Sr Developer III (Lead) position is to oversee and mentor a small team of developers and business analysts and to lead and deliver development projects for custom business applications and reports both independently and with the team. This role will work directly with business stakeholders, IT management, and the development team to guide projects to completion, lead code reviews, provide ideas for technology and process improvements, and deliver well-documented solutions that accommodate stakeholder and business process needs while ensuring that department and coding processes are followed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead other developers to assist the team with tasks like, but not limited to, best practices, troubleshooting, estimation, testing and documentation

• Lead Team Code Reviews

• Research and propose new technologies and methodologies to improve development methodology

• Develop large scale enterprise solutions with high complexity

• Design, develop and implement business applications using current technologies

• Ensuring coding standards are followed by others and propose enhancements

• Work with other developers, project managers, architects, business analysts and other departments to develop new technology and expand into existing applications

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

10+ years Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

10+ years Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Applicable development language/solutioning
