At T-Mobile, we're growing our Creative Design team to serve our growing business. Our team is committed to strengthening T-Mobile's communication through design thinking, visual storytelling and brand aesthetic. We are searching for a video production & animation expert to help deliver on this mission.
Your role as "the video expert" on our design team, requires expertise in creating and editing video content in a collaborative environment. You also bring proficiency in motion graphics, graphic design, color grading, and audio mixing. We're looking for a senior creative team member with a curious streak who can bring social media, PR and internal comms insight, help craft a narrative, and offer guidance to junior team members. What you'll do in your role.
Contributes and leads creative concepting and execution of full-scale digital video & animation projects.
Collaborates with management and senior leadership on content strategy & consumer insight.
Leads creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns.
Follows broader company design strategy and evolves it when necessary.
Communicates best practices for video and animation with reasoning behind creative content & brand decisions to key stakeholders.
Produces storyboards, motion graphics, animation, and video edits.
Provides constructive feedback on peer creative work.
Guide our media & content creation to adhere to strategic insights & brand narrative.
Presents work to the department and executives for review and feedback.
Works with other groups to understand audience insight and data points to create future work with more brand impact.
Builds successful partnerships within and outside the team.
Works across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements.
Contributes to the creation and evolution of the T-Mobile brand narrative & presence in the digital and social media sphere.
Proven ability to work with highly creative teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Relationship and People Management
Leads and supports team members, both experienced & neophytes, to create a positive and cohesive culture that supports T-Mobile's vision.
Guides, mentors and inspires other people in the team, keeping up with the media industry evolution including best practices, new trends and technologies.
Collaborates internally and externally to continuously evolve team process and creative execution practice.
Creates an environment that fosters internal and cross team collaboration.
The experience you'll bring.
Bachelor's Degree: In Design, Advertising, Media, or a Related Field.
Spent at least 5-7 years creating video content for communication channels, with a good portion those years working in social media, public relations and internal comms.
You've been up against tight deadlines. You work quickly and relish the opportunity to deliver quality creative, which is sometimes a 24/7 environment.
You're a proven leader. You have a track record leading creative projects and creating real-time content. You're able to dive in when necessary and help get stuff done. You are able to concept and create video content using storyboards, scripts, and stock footage. You have extensive knowledge of the post-production pipeline and are able to own timelines to complete projects.
You've worked with creative software and know it like the back of your hand. You work in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D. You could have expertise in other visual effects software such as AVID, Final Cut and all the best software plugins.
