Job Overview

The Sr. Instructional Designer will assess, develop and implement learning solutions to improve job skills, enhance career development, and meet AltaMed's Strategic Objectives. This individual will be responsible for engaging in the full instructional design and development cycle. This includes needs assessment, design, development and execution of all learning solution. This role will also be responsible for using and recommending technology-based tools to improve the instructional integrity of all training materials. The individual must also remain current on training industry trends and incorporate them into training strategies as appropriate. Work directly with subject matter experts and key stakeholders when developing learning solutions.

Education and Experience:

1.Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, e-learning, Distance Education or Instructional Technology required. Master's degree preferred.

2.Minimum of 7 years of experience required in managing the development of training programs, learning projects, including instructional design, course development, in-services and project management required.

3.Experience in healthcare organizations preferred.

4.Experience with technical training and computer-based tools in the development and delivery of learning and knowledge management projects required.

5.Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) content authoring and content management highly preferred.

6.Experience with Digital Adoption Tools; such as Walkme or Whatfix highly preferred.

Salary Range

$88,829.11 - $111,036.39 annually
