Summary

Sr. Design Electrical Engineer

Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.

Electrical Engineer

Knowledge

• Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

• High-speed digital data acquisition systems,

• Industrial power distribution and control systems,

• Low-noise, high-bandwidth analog design

• Precision large and small (20W - 20kW) PID servo motion control systems,

• FPGA design (VHDL) and C++ programming

. Design electrical control systems with PLC as controller

• Familiarity with UL, CSA, NEC, and NFPA safety standards.

Electrical Engineer

Experience Level with Business Tools

• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Education and Experience

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering

• 8+ years of related experience

• Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.
