A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develops and applies computer applications and software for engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems.
Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of engineering software and engineering applications.
Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of engineering software and applications and design specifications and parameters for solutions.
Develops routines, code, applications, and utility programs.
Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval for applications and software.
May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
LabView experience
Programming/Coding experience
Familiarity with databases and reporting tools
Software application experience such as Polarion, Integrity, Jira, Jama, Code Beamer, etc.
Systems Validation experience
Software/Application deployment experience
