The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently hiring for experienced Data Science/Cyber Analytics Engineers for the USSOUTHCOM program.
These positions are located in Doral, FL (Miami, FL area).
Role & Responsibilities:in this role, you will:
Create scalable solutions to collect and search large datasets to identify threats to the USSOUTHCOM enterprise.
Create data mining architectures, data models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends and provide visualization of the analysis.
Resulting analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization.
Requires strong statistical and data visualization skills.
Manage infrastructure requirements and industry trends in large operational DoD data sets.
Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Contribute to the development of new principles / concepts and work on unusually complex technical problems to provide solutions, which are highly innovative and ingenious.
Work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range enterprise data transformation goals and objectives.
Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Work may be checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of superior.
Develop advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives and effect the image of the organization technological capability.
Bachelor's in Science (STEM) and 9 years of relevant experience; 7 Years with Master's and 7 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience.
Enterprise Operational Data Management Experience.
Leader in Enterprise Data Structure Transformation Experience in the DoD.
Army Corps of Engineers Datacenter / Domain Experience.
U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Previous experience supporting a large-scale enterprise information technology effort desired.
Previous experience at USSOUTHCOM, other Combatant Command, or similar sized DOD organization desired.
Masters Degree or higher.
Experience in Management of Enterprise Revolutionary Initiatives, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML).
