The Service Transition team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing internal stakeholders a streamlined and smooth transition from all service life cycle activities. Our Asset & Configuration Team specializes in managing existing service and asset configurations, building new customer configurations for deployment, and collecting/reconciling data from all relevant data sources to be used as a trusted source for all of our CMSO partners.
As a Data Management Lead within the Configuration Management team, You will be the owner of all aspects of Data management and data governance for centralized services.
Lead cross-functional teams in the development and maintenance of all Configuration management data for Centralized Managed and Support Operations (CMSO)
Lead for Data Management Programs for CMSO for offer and internal projects and initiatives
Lead the development and maintenance of the CMSO Data Management framework
Establish business and functional requirements, then translate them into actionable Data initiatives and metrics
Accountable for data quality metrics, data quality improvements, and data access controls.
Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated and well understood
Manage and mentor a team of data engineers (both full-time associates and/or third-party resources)
Day-to-Day oversight of customer reporting Team; team operating rhythm, team workflow, setting priorities, managing timelines, monitoring documentation, setting expectations with internal and external stakeholders
5+ years' experience performing data design, analysis, and reconciliation.
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent experience
Knowledge in Data Visualization/Business Intelligence Applications
Working experience of the CMDB data model and its relationships.
Experience working with business service impact mapping.
Clear and concise communication skills to different stakeholder groups.
Project management and coordination with ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience in developing and maintaining process training documentation.
ITIL V3 Foundations certification a plus
