Sr. Data Engineer

• Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.

• Java or J2EE

• Java Web Application framework including Spring, Hibernate and Data JPA

• Web services standards and related technologies, including XML, JSON, Rest, and SOAP.

• UX front-end frameworks and technologies, including Angular, React, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Backbone.js, Emberjs, Bootstrap and CSS.

• OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.

• DBMS and NoSQL Query tuning using SQL, PL/SQL, Hive QL, or SparkSQL.

• Database management system, such as Oracle, MySQL, HBase, Cassandra, Hive, MongoDB, MariaDB, RocksDB, Firebase, or Redis.

• Homomorphic encryption concepts and algorithms.

• Data protection and privacy concepts, and applicability to software systems.

• Junit, TestNG and Selenium.

• Software design patterns and advance algorithms.

WORKSITE: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $134,672.00 USD to $194,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
