You are:

A Senior Data Warehouse Engineer who will be working under the direction of the Manager, Data Analytics and Integration. As a senior member of our team you are to work to facilitate, coordinate, and improve manage Data warehousing processes, support modern data integration to Snowflake platform, manage Data Warehouse environments while simultaneously building a modern data streaming architecture; mapping a path towards a consolidated data framework.

You are an individual who will collaborate with off-shore teams and manage deliverables. This individual will work with the Global Operations, Accounting, and Sales teams to create automated and scalable Data ingestion with committed SLAs that will ultimately be a key driver in the growth of the company. You will leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of business customers.

This position will sit fulltime in Austin, TX.

You will:

  • Identify the gaps in our data infrastructure and design and build the solutions.

  • Build a reliable, scalable, and near real-time central data repository for Snowflake leveraging Data lake/Snowflake technologies.

  • Build insights and intelligence on top of our central data repository.

  • Handle large amount of data and real-time event streaming architecture and patterns like Kinesis, Flink, or Confluent in Kafka/ Confluent, AWS S3, Snowflake environments/Platforms.

  • Diagnose issues in a highly distributed environment.

Your background:

As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer, you have:

  • Should a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Data Warehouse development or Data Analytics

  • Must have extensive and strong development experience in Java, Python, and SQL.

  • Must have experience in data modeling, warehouse design, and fact/dimension concepts.

  • Must have hands-on experience in drving data integration projects and implementing automation via ETL Tools (i.e. Talend, Informatica, SSIS, etc.).

  • Strong leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business/Data Analytics required.


  • Experience with serialization/deserialization of data (e.g. Avro, etc).

  • Scala development experience.

  • Schema registry maintenance for Kafka topics.

  • Experience solving analytical business problems using data.
