Robert Half Technology is seeking a talented Sr. Data Analyst to join our client, a local financial institution, on a contract basis with a possibility to convert to full-time hire.

As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will play a lead role in developing data insights that drive our client's product decisions. You will draw on deep data knowledge, business savviness, and a strong analytics toolkit to scope and deliver analysis of who our customers are, how they use our client's product, and how they are impacted.

You will work directly with Product Managers and executive leadership to ensure your insights get heard and used. You will shape how their Product team uses data. As a data leader in the company, you will be a mentor and a trusted source for data, insights, and methodology. Job Functions: ? Partnering with their product teams to develop data insights that inform product design ? Using statistics and other measurement techniques to understand how new products impact customer behavior and company performance ? Conducting data analyses to understand how and why customers use their product and presenting strategic takeaways to our client's executive team ? Presenting on findings and takeaways across the company, to everyone from executives to peers ? Developing dashboards that shape how product managers and the management team think about the business ? Acting as a data and thought leader for the company and a mentor for the analytics team


Requirements: ? 5+ years? experience in business analysis, data analytics, data science, statistics, or related field ? Consistent record of conducting proactive, business-relevant data analysis and distilling actionable takeaways and recommendations ? Experience designing and evaluating statistical tests to measure the impact of product releases or other business decisions ? Well-versed in SQL or similar database languages and familiarity with Python, R or other statistical packages ? Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or ChartIO ? Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience working with executives and stakeholders at all levels ? Experience mentoring junior analysts strongly preferred ? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change

VIEW JOBS 1/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-16T00:00 Work Unit Description     Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range FTE: 1.0, Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm Location: Portland, OR (Downtown) Salary Range: starting at $66,395 Job Type: Unclassified   Functions/Duties of Position OHSU uses the Kronos Workforce Timekeeper product to record and manage employees time and Oracle EBS to process and record employees payroll payments. Employees use a telephone or web based access to record daily timekeeping activities and managers can track employee time via manager access or system generated reports. The timekeeping solution and the payroll applications are integrated. This position will provide Kronos Workforce Timekeeper, Scheduler Badge Reader expertise to the OHSU campus community. Additionally, this position will provide payroll and timekeeping reporting expertise. This position works with confidential and highly sensitive information, including key information related to union contracts negotiations and implementations. Responsibilities will include: Gathering user requirements related to timekeeping Mapping user requirements against Kronos Workforce applications Mapping interfaces to/from the Kronos Workforce application to other OHSU applications Completing system configuration activities using the delivered Kronos toolset Developing custom timekeeping reports Coordinating user acceptance testing and sign off Training end users Providing end user support via telephone and email Gathering requirements and building payroll, timekeeping and labor distribution reports.   Job Requirements Bachelors degree and 4 years Computer Science experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and/or experience. Experience in a health care and/or education environment. Experience with Kronos Workforce Applications including Timekeeping, Scheduling and Badge Readers. Hands on experience with the Kronos toolsets, including application configuration and the development of ad hoc reports and data integration routines. Experience with business analysis / software development, particularly requirements gathering and user acceptance testing Experience providing user support/assistance on-site or over the phone / via email. Experience training end users as part of a new software implementation project. Knowledge of Kronos applications, toolsets, and workflows Knowledge of timekeeping and scheduling in a health care environment. Expertise in packaged software requirements gathering and documentation. Expertise in packaged software user acceptance testing. Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Experience using Business Intelligence tools and Cognos report writing Experience writing SQL querries Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent user support service.
