Role Summary As a Sr. Data Analyst in the Planning Excellence Organization of Rivian, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Planning Excellence with preparation, implementation, and management of technical tasks and reports. The ideal candidate will analyze data to provide actionable insights to support decision-making through a broad range of business topics.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across various departments. Responsibilities Coordinate and follow up on required data and data interpretation Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to support decision-making Support Planning leadership to achieve the organization's needs Support Planning Director with day-to-day analysis and reporting data Gather and organize relevant data from various sources; ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights Utilize statistical tools and techniques to provide data-backed recommendations Develop and prepare detailed planning executive reports that summarize findings, highlight key insights, and present data-driven results Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate complex information Present findings to senior management in a compelling and understandable manner Employ forecasting models and analytical techniques to predict future trends and scenarios Create and maintain written documentation for related processes and procedures Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide context for proposed decisions or solutions Stay updated on relevant developments that could impact organizational strategies Ensure high level of accuracy and reliability of data used in analyses and reporting Implement data quality control measures and address any discrepancies or issues Identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and reporting methods Suggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field 4+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a related industry Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficient with data analytics tools Proficient with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar sofware Experience with programming languages such as python or R Must be agile, flexible, and work well in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical thinker and problem solver Experience with automotive manufacturing systems, automation, production scheduling and supply chain is highly preferred Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
