Our IT team is looking for a Sr Data Analyst. As a Sr Data Analyst you will assist IT Operations in conducting data analysis, and developing reporting, and presentations. Will lead moderate to complex initiatives with minimal direction from leadership. You will also assist in the build and delivery of solutions in support of business requirements, adherence to process, and delivery of root cause analysis, process improvement, and enhancing end user experience. In addition you will develop and sustain key relationships within IT and the business units. You will communicate to and influence all levels of leadership within IT and the Trustmark business units in addition to working with third party vendors on quality initiatives, reporting, and governance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Pull and analyze IT data from one or more sources.

  • Perform quality and accuracy assessments of data and sources that are of a high level of complexity.

  • Identify and lead initiatives to perform/document gap analysis, and develop plans as necessary supporting final analysis outcomes.

  • Assist or support team members in resolving issues or analyzing trends within specific areas of IT services.

  • Work with other department members to understand individual and team requirements of report objectives, presentation needs, and/or project deliverables.

  • Improve reporting capabilities and performance.

  • Work with partners and vendors on quality initiatives to deliver value to business stakeholders.

  • Work on special initiatives which could include streamlining of process, quality initiatives, or leading moderate to large scale projects.

  • Drive the delivery of IT goals and initiatives.

  • Create and deliver effective and influential business presentations.

  • Organize and lead meetings

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required.

  • 2 or more years of comparable IT experience including proven experience in communicating and influencing at all levels in the organization required.

  • 2 or more years of Data Analyst experience strongly preferred

  • Leadership roles supporting data driven initiatives strongly preferred

  • Experience and skills to evaluate data trends and create data driven action plans strongly preferred

  • Ability to Present data analysis results and actions up to the executive level strongly preferred

  • Evaluate data results and create / present actionable plans strongly preferred

  • Effective collaboration & communication skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage to multiple deliverables within a similar timeframe.

  • Experience leading teams to deliver desired outcomes.

  • Exhibits a high level of proficiency in data analysis.

  • Strong business skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Good organization skills and capable of managing multiple tasks.

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field of study.

  • 8 years of IT experience preferred
