Leidos has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Advisor to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs. This is a senior level position to assist NNSA with identifying and resolving programmatic cyber issues across the NNSA nuclear security enterprise. In this capacity, this position will work with senior NNSA leadership in integrating cyber issues and developing action plans to resolve these issues. This is a full-time position. Work will be in the NNSA offices located at the Department of Energy Forrestal Building in Washington, D.C.
This position will assist NNSA with the following responsibilities:
Research, analyze and present technical aspects of cyber issues affecting the NNSA nuclear security enterprise;
Provide subject matter expertise to NNSA on threats and vulnerabilities impacting the NNSA nuclear security enterprise;
Lead working groups in executing action plans to resolving cyber issues;
Develop a cyber strategy specific to the U.S. nuclear weapons program;
Establish and maintain inter-agency and external relationships related to cyber collaboration; and
Manager risk in different alternatives.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an active U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.
Experience in interacting with senior level government leadership.
Bachelor of Science degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Experience as a cyber defense analyst.
Experience with cloud migration in the intelligence community is required.
Experience with "white hat" efforts, including penetration testing and other testing methodologies to ensure information system security.
Good knowledge of networks, cyber defense toolsets and processes.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with the National Security Agency or the U.S. Air Force cyber command is also preferred.
Experience with U.S. nuclear weapons is preferred.
