The Senior Credit Risk Analyst is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of consumer credit/risk related reporting and analyses. The Analyst will be or become an expert in one or more key areas of Geographic Risk, Product Knowledge and Credit Bureau Attributes. The Analyst will also assist in activities related to the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses ("ALLL"), inclusive of CECL implementation for consumer lending including Real Estate, Auto and other Consumer Lending products. Other ad hoc credit related projects may be assigned.
Major Areas of Accountability
A. Proforma and Early Estimate Support.
Partner with Business Unit FPA team:
Build and maintain credit related models to provide FPA team with credit related forecast guidance
Monitor results and provide variance commentary.
B. KRI/KPI, Concentration Monitoring and commentary
Monitor KRI/KPI activity and provide commentary for exceptions
Lead annual Concentration Reporting exercise
C. Develop analyses and become key subject area expert in one or more of three functional areas:
Geographic Risk Monitor geographies for economic and other significant events and provide reporting and forecasts.
Credit Bureau Monitor credit bureau reporting and provide trend and root cause analysis for trend shifts and provide forecasts.
Product Expert Monitor Industry trends, benchmark performance, work with BUs on new product assessments
Support ALLL team where needed.
Learn processes and serve as backup to eliminate KPR.

A minimum of 4 years of analytical support and project management Credit/Finance/ALLL.
Experience and demonstrated expertise in SAS.
Excellent Excel, tableau, or other data analytics tools.
Experience as auditor or working with auditors and/or regulators.
Experience in change management.

Prior portfolio management experience preferred: consumer: residential mortgage & indirect auto; commercial: specialty finance/ inventory floor planning, equipment finance and commercial banking (CRE & CI).
Deep understanding of current FASB regulations, fair value, purchase accounting methodology.
