SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Environmental Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring environmental management and compliance. Your primary purpose will be to work collaboratively with the Regulatory team to deliver quality environmental outcomes and to adhere to regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Environmental Coordinator is charged with performing a wide array of tasks related to environmental compliance and management. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Communicate and prepare reports for submittal internally, externally, to governmental agencies and customers.
Analyze data and prepare management reports on environmental compliance records.
Support development of environmental programs and plans.
Produces environmental metrics and tracks KPIs.
Provides administrative support for compliance documentation.
Coordinating with third party vendors to ensure timely and accurate regulatory reports.
Supporting permitting processes as needed.
Audit project plans and requirements (stormwater, SPCC, waste, air).
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum/preferred experience for the position:
5+ years of related experience
Experience with compliance management systems to track and trend compliance tasks and commitments.
Preferred experience on FERC regulated project and experience with TCEQ
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position:
Basic knowledge of how state/federal regulatory agency website works for submittal of report and ability to resolve possible errors returned regarding specific data.
Must have strong written and verbal skills (English language).
Well versed in stormwater, SPCC, and waste.

Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
Operates in a complex construction environment.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.

Ability to drive to other Company work locations as required.
Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, including being physically capable of traveling to a designed muster point during emergency situations.
