Brief Department Description

Global Time & Labor management is seeking a strong candidate who is focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. Time & Labor Management is responsible for ensuring timecards are accurate and compliant with Raytheon Technologies policies, and Federal and State Labor Laws. This position will also be responsible for working ServiceNow tickets, from internal and external customers, that requires the ability to conduct research and perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support labor processes. The Time & Labor Management team manages a high volume, fast-paced process in a team-oriented environment with continuously expanding responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

What you will do:

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution

  • Interact and collaborate with Human Resources and Finance to interpret guidelines and policy

  • Maintain process documentation for assigned tasks

  • Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics

  • Continuous checks for work accuracy to detect and correct errors within current responsibilities

  • Perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process

  • Understand labor policies and Federal & State wage and hour laws

  • Understand and implement Federal & State leave of absence laws for timecard processing

  • Calculate and process employee termination final pay

Qualifications you must have

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience gained in a large corporate finance environment ideally within the Payroll, Time and Labor setting.

  • Working knowledge of SAP, PRISM/Apex, or WorkDay with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping

  • Ability to work flexible schedule, possibly outside normal business hours

Education Experience Skills and Certifications

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)

Required Immigration Status (work authorization):

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong PC-based skills; Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel

  • Detail oriented Self-starter with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize task to manage workload effectively

  • Analytical ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer issues

  • Strong skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment

  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills to promote work efficiency

  • Collaborate to work effectively in a team environment and reach consensus decisions

  • Must be willing to work Hybrid from one of the following major Enterprise Services hubs: Farmington CT, or Tucson AZ, Des Moines IA, or Richardson Tx

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
