Senior Controller Location: Englewood, CO, United States Position Type:

Full-Time Professional We're seeking an experienced Senior Controller to join our team and take the helm of our Accounting, Legal, IT, Risk Management, and Aviation divisions. As a Senior Controller, you'll be responsible for shaping the strategic direction and planning within these key divisions. This role plays a pivotal part in our company's leadership team and involves collaboration with our Real Estate and Capital Market teams to deliver insightful performance, reporting and will be responsible for leading a high performing team.

Key Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required (a master's degree is preferred). A minimum of five years of relevant experience is essential. An active CPA license is highly desirable.

Profound knowledge of accounting and tax practices. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities: In this senior management role, you'll work closely with company’s owner and the Executive Leadership team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as well as maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. You should have a track record of introducing new processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering the growth of your team.

Understanding appropriate internal controls necessary to ensure safety of all company assets and business entities. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. Knowledge and experience in working in Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains preferred.

Ability to explain complex financial matters in a clear and understandable fashion. Comprehensive financial planning experience to include budget reviews and financial planning and analysis. Works effectively with minimal direction, self-starter.

Education & Training: Bachelor’s Degree (masters preferred) with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Prior tax experience highly preferred Active CPA license strongly preferred.

Prior Real Estate experience preferred. Experience: Minimum 7-10 years accounting and financial management experience; 5-7 years in a senior level position.
