GDIT is conducting a search for a Sr. Contracts Administrator who will be a trusted advisor to all customers (internal and external) to drive company and client missions. You will work with a team in a complex and competitive market to provide stand-out services as we strive to be the best in all we do. Additionally, you will provide independent work to provide every action of the contract lifecycle and use creative thinking skills to drive solutions that help solve the critical missions GDIT serves.

Position will be located in one of GDIT's Washington, DC metropolitan area offices. (Chantilly, VA; Fairfax, VA; Falls Church, VA; Frederick, MD; Towson, MD; Warrenton, VA)


  • With minimal supervision, provides support for pre-RFP/RFQ analysis, proposal preparation review/support, negotiations, post-award contract set-up and administration, and contract closeout support. The specific types of duties include:

  • Responsible for the preparation/review of moderately complex cost/price proposals. Work with proposal team throughout the capture and proposal process

  • Negotiates proposals, contracts, and subcontracts with prime contractors

  • Provide contractual and business recommendations to technical staff and other leverage leaders

  • Initiates and maintains contract administration and business relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders

  • Identifies, tracks, mitigates, and resolves risk issues

  • Monitors performance of contracts for conformance to contractual terms and conditions and ensures that contracts are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, laws, and regulations

  • Communicates clearly and consistently both orally and in written format to enable appropriate actions

  • Develops proactive approaches to problem solving, as well as working to find efficiencies

  • Works with legal as appropriate to ensure compliance


Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.


  • 6 years of Federal Government cradle to grave contracts experience

  • 6 years of FAR experience

  • 3 years of HSAR experience

  • Must be a US citizen for systems access

  • Experience supporting Health and Human Services agency contracts preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and able to be a team player

If being a System Administrator supporting the NRO sounds exciting see the below position, and apply today. * Exciting fast paced positon solving real world problems in multi-vendor-environment; utilizes critical thinking to troubleshoot complex network issues while maintaining constant vigilance over enterprise network resources * Responsible for performing 24/7 continuous monitoring to identify network incidents related to service interruptions, WAN/LAN outages, and system performance issues * Remediates network and system performance issues and coordinates and implements network changes in accordance with established network maintenance activity processes and procedures * Responsible for day-to-day O&M and administration on routers, switches, multiplexers, load balancers, and encryption and decryption devices within a multi-vendor environment * Troubleshoots SONET, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, Ethernet, Frame-Relay, VRF/VPN, VPLS, Tunneling and other networking technologies to identify potential switching and routing conflicts * Responsible for proactive configuration of network paths for optimum network performance and to reduce impacts to service * Interacts with Cyber Network Defense (CND) analyst to investigate network security related incidents and works to identify root causes and executes mitigation strategies * Provides Situational Awareness (SA) information to the customer for all service impacts * Maintains Job Qualification Standard (JQS) requirements and job certification with an implemented Annual Plan of Instruction (APOI) per customer direction in conjunction with DoD 8570 Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Qualifications: 5-8 years of directly related experience in network administration and support * Must have current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph * Must possess appropriate current DOD Information Assurance (IA) certification to be considered for employment; i.e., CompTIA Security+CE, or CCNA-Security * Must attain the required DOD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) certification within six (6) months of hire date * Experience with ITIL Incident Management processes * Position requires shift work: Panama Schedule: Example shown Below * As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access Panama 12-Hour Shift Schedule Example.
