As a Sr. Contract Negotiator you'll provide sound contracts leadership to Fleet Readiness Services Programs/Contracts to the Naval Surface and Undersea Systems/Naval Power Mission Area. In addition, you'll adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure their application to contract structures. Also in this role, you'll use your business acumen, program knowledge and skill in recognizing contractual issues early in program to help drive program performance, provide guidance in solution implementation and influence outcomes to achieve desired results.

Overall responsibilities will include working with multiple services and logistics support contracts with the U.S. government and international customers.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Management of all aspects of the contracting process, including proposal preparation, fact finding, negotiation, contract administration, and contract closure. Focus on Product line growth and capture activities.

  • Engagement with program teams and customers to ensure that the program executes to contract requirements (including cost, funding, schedule, and deliverables),

  • Work with a variety of business agreements, including strategic and proprietary information agreements, while interacting closely with management, organization, planning and controls

  • Negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract

  • Apply tenets of Raytheon Missile & Defense principles of Customer Focused Marketing to establish and maintain effective customer relationships based on professionalism, responsiveness and ethical conduct.

Approximately 10% domestic and international travel required.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in the field of Contract Management, Negotiations, Finance, Supply Chain, Program Management or related fields

  • 4+ years of experience in the aforementioned areas along with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered for this job.

  • Experience working with complex proposals/contracts.

  • US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, etc. and/or equivalent government regulations

  • Ability to problem solve, develop solutions, and support the business leaders in achieving their financial and performance goals and objectives

  • Experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project)

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
