JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Business Development, this role is responsible for designing, facilitating, executing and leading all transactional elements of contracts, including physician contracts as outlined below. The Sr. Contract Administrator is responsible for ensuring all contracts and corresponding documents are compliant with hospital policy, legal and regulatory requirements. In addition to the development and execution of physician contracts, the Sr. Contract Administrator is responsible for ensuring proper documentation and timely payment of physician payments (e.g., Medical Directorships, Administrative Agreements, Professional Services Coverage Agreements, etc.). Working with SJMC management team members, the Sr. Contract Administrator will oversee the physician contract and payment process from beginning to end and be seen as a resource for management team members. When a contract is due for renewal, the Contract Administrator will make contract recommendations based upon timesheets and amendments from previous contract periods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Degree/Certification

Experience:

  • General contract experience

  • Five (5) or more years of contract negotiation experience

  • Five (5) or more years of corporate health care/ hospital or related experience

  • Experience compiling and negotiating physician contracts, clinical affiliations, and other hospital/ corporate healthcare related contracts

  • Five (5) or more years of experience engaging and interacting with executive leadership members to accomplish organizational objectives

  • Five (5) or more years of experience leading all aspects of contract management and accounts payable

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Master's Degree

Experience:

  • Contract experience specific to physicians

  • Experience in accounts payable

  • Ten (10) or more years of corporate health care/ hospital or related experience

JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Major Gift Officer reports to the Director of Philanthropic initiatives and will serve as a strategist for individual and major gift development prospects with a focus on identified fundraising priories, services, or researches areas, this position plays a key role in meetings the fundraising goals of the Memorial Foundation through physicians engagement, volunteer and donor management. The Senior Officer will successfully grow and manage a major gift portfolio of approximately 100 to 150 prospects to meet assigned goals and objectives for the Foundation. He/She well be expected to make 140 face-to-face visits per year and deliver a minimum of 16 proposals annually Will work with clinical leadership and colleagues to identify and qualify prospective donors, make qualification calls and discovery visits to build a pipeline of prospects capable of making gifts of $25,000 and above. This position will develop and implement gift strategies and solicitations, ensure accurate gift processing, create and manage individual stewardship plans and develop appropriate engagement opportunities. As part of engagement efforts, the Officer will be responsible for initiating appropriate contract and developing meaningful events for donors and prospective donors to showcase unique opportunities for support. The Officer will be responsible for tracking profess and results utilizing prospect management guidelines and the Raiser's Edge fundraising database.
