About the role:

Cruise is looking for a Sr. Contingent Workforce Partner to support the Cruise Contingent Workforce Program operations teams. This role would be in daily contact with operational leads across the business to help respond to and ensure compliance with processes, policies, and best practices to meet the Cruise vision. Our ideal candidate is a highly adaptable individual who is not intimidated in the face of ambiguity, and is equal parts proactive and collaborative.

Day-to-day responsibilities Include:

  • Advises and educates operations teams about contingent workforce and People policies, procedures, best practices, and expectations.

  • Drives the resolution of day-to-day contingent workforce concerns, including accommodation requests, workers' compensation issues, wage and hour matters, and other compliance issues to meet operational goals.

  • Works in conjunction with Aerotek on-premise teams to support Cruise contingent workforce operations needs.

  • Ensures compliance with related federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Ensures accurate and consistent policy, procedure, and process application.

  • Identifies policy and process gaps, vulnerabilities, and opportunities and drives solutions to resolve them.

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of People/HR generalist experience, including 2+ years of heavy employee relations experience

  • 2-3 years experience managing contingent workforce relationships and processes desired

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting contingent workforce management and related People/HR activities

  • Experience exercising independent judgment in the application of company policies and practices to determine appropriate action or guidance

  • Experience in working across various levels of an organization

  • Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to own and drive projects end-to-end

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • BA/BS or equivalent practical experience in a related field

  • SPHR/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred

  • CCWP certification a plus

This Workforce Optimization Support Team Leader is a hands-on role which will lead a team of Analytic Consultants, focusing on enabling effective execution of the staffing targets across all levels of Community Bank. Key Responsibilities: * Lead strategic efforts to ensure that regional goals, local processes and branch level adjustments are incorporated into staffing targets for both the teller and platform models * Provide insight on key drivers and talking points for changes in branch staffing targets * Provide staffing analytics to help regions identify feasible ramp-down rates and set staffing outlook * Facilitate feedback from regional partners to set staffing targets and support continuous improvement of staffing model * Provide execution support to ensure staffing and personnel expense targets are met * Provide Platform and Service staffing levels tracking and diagnostics (target vs actuals gap) * Utilize Staffing Excellence Forums and workforce planning meetings to identify barriers to execution * Coaching and action planning to ensure regions ramp up/down the right way * Deliver insights for broad range of strategic initiatives & deliverables (e.g. Digital Branch, Branch Transformation, executive leadership questions, etc) * Ad hoc reporting & analytics to describe Service and Platform FTE work content (activities, volumes, time standards, etc.) As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
