We are currently hiring a Sr Consumer Insights Analyst in Boston, MA (*Hybrid).
Be a voice of the consumer and support the strategy, insights & analytics team in all consumer insights related projects, including but not limited to conducting qualitative and quantitative research in areas around: product, packaging, advertising, and communication research, and in market execution and assessment.
Support primary research needs, through the collection, synthesis, and analysis of data from a variety of sources, to produce both written and face-to-face deliverables. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for understanding consumer and marketing trends, assessing consumer needs to integrate and recommend actionable changes to brand teams, and regularly review consumer data to identify and understand customer needs, preferences, and opportunities.

Insights Guidance:
Be able to ask 'the right questions' of our internal partners (e.g., brand), in order to build hypotheses, help define research needs, and translate the need into research agendas
Partner with and build relationships and trust with internal stakeholders (e.g., brand & marketing co-workers)
Uncover and develop actionable insights (going from the 'so what' to the 'now what')
Proactively seek out and recommend better methodologies
Conducting and developing research:
In collaboration with the Assoc. Director of Consumer Insights, plan and execute quantitative and qualitative research studies (i.e. questionnaire/discuss guide development, programming and testing surveys, build profiles/banner plans, analyzing data, and producing reports)
Manage timelines, work with various internal databases and syndicated tools, analyze raw data, create reports from scratch as well as present and share those results to various partners
Manage and coordinate with research partners, ensuring processes are running efficiently
Effectively prioritizes tasks and projects from both a timing and a resources standpoint
Partnership within the organization:
Manage day to day asks from brand and business partners, once strategy is set
Synthesize primary and secondary data from multiple data sources to tell a holistic story
Partner with other data reporting teams outside of Consumer Insights, when applicable
Be an observer and constant collector of consumer and cultural trends, and share relevant POVs when necessary
Assist sales teams and organization on consumer insight asks
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent relevant experience
4+ years of custom research project experience, preferably on the market research supplier side or CPG / retail brand side
Familiarity with a variety of market research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative, and their applications
Proficiency with survey-analytics platforms (e.g., MarketSight)
Must be able to manage projects independently; be highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to distill data into a clean and concise story
Team player with the ability to build good rapport with both internal and external clients
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Intellectually curious and inquisitive nature
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of the alcohol beverage category
Experience working with innovation teams
Level: 6
In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $66,300 - $130,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
