As a highly consumer-centric and data-driven organization, GoPro has an incredible opportunity for a high-impact, highly visible Sr Analyst, focusing on delivering insights for the company's software and subscription strategy. As part of the Consumer Insights team, this role will structure and analyze a variety of business problems and growth opportunities with GoPro's ecosystem and software innovations. We're looking for versatile thinkers who can work cross-functionally and drive research projects from ideation to analysis to actionable and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and analyze consumer research projects, working closely with Product, Product Marketing, and UX teams

  • Work with Insights, Analytics, and UX Research to identify and fill key knowledge gaps about the prospective and current app and subscription consumers

  • Effectively communicate research findings across the organization so that findings are properly incorporated into overall business, product and marketing strategy, as well as the GoPro software/cloud experience

  • Partner closely with cross functional teams to identify key strategic questions for the software and subscription business that can be answered through Insights


Skills We're Stoked About:

  • 3+ years experience in a Consumer Insights, market research, or analytics role

  • Hands-on experience writing and programming surveys

  • Strong analytical thinking

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both for internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, with ability to present clearly and concisely from peers to executive level

  • Ability to understand and appreciate qualitative research, and to evaluate when different research methodologies are more appropriate for the business question

  • Self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced team environment

  • Experience with Tableau and Qualtrics a plus

  • Comfort with statistical research methods and performing these analyses a plus

GoPro is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Analytics team at our San Mateo office. You will analyze, design, develop, test, implement and support EDW solutions that meet the scope and quality of customer expectations and business requirements while complying with IT development standards and architectural framework. In turn, you will have the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge IT organization with top quality people focused on customer satisfaction, execution and delivery. Responsibilities * Partner with business users to understand and analyze business requirements * Perform source system analysis and data profiling * Maintain the EDW physical data model * Prepare technical design documents and participate in technical design reviews * Design and develop ETL mappings for EDW using Informatica * Tune Informatica ETLs for optimal performance and adherence to business SLAs * Perform unit and integration testing and document test strategy and results * Perform peer code reviews, and assist with IT and business validations to ensure high quality results * Proactively manage the health of the system (EDW/reporting layer) to ensure adherence to business SLAs * Work on the resolution of support tickets Skills We're Stoked About * Over 8 years as a data analyst/ETL developer in EDW environments * Knowledge of EDW architecture, methodologies, and best practices * Understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce data structures * Strong track record of successful project delivery in data warehouse/BI environments * Strong SQL skills * Experience doing performance optimization for ETLs and the reporting layer * Hands-on experience in Informatica * BS in Information Technology or other related degree * Ability to work effectively in an onsite-remote delivery model * Hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter 9.x or above * Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau Perks * Fully-stocked kitchen with snacks galore * Live it.
