The Role

Consultants in the TMOA practice assist clients in their efforts to attract, retain and engage talent by developing and implementing innovative and practical Organizational Design, Talent Management, Human Capital, and related solutions, oftentimes with links to rewards and change management. Solutions can be broad in nature (for example, developing new organizational structures in the context of an M&A, establishing a renewed talent management or talent acquisition strategy) or more narrow (creating a functional competency model or doing an in-depth job analysis). Within the scope of your role, you will be responsible for identifying and selling new business opportunities within new and existing client relationships, leading the delivery and management of project work and operating as an advisor with clients. Experience effectively leading large and complex projects and coaching project teams is essential. You must also be willing and able to "dig in" to the project work as our project team model requires all members to be an active member in the delivery.

Typical projects include, but aren't limited to:

  • Organizational Design

  • Performance Management Design and Implementation

  • Competency Framework Design and Validation

  • Career Architecture Frameworks

  • Workforce Analytics and Workforce Planning

  • Talent Assessments

  • Succession Planning Processes

  • Leadership Development Program Design and Delivery

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Interacting with clients to understand their talent management and organizational alignment needs and responding to them by drafting statements of work utilizing Willis Towers Watson's capabilities

  • Serving as an advisor to clients and team leader for client engagements, coaching the project manager and more junior colleagues to meet the client requests and expectations while also developing colleague's experience and content knowledge

  • Managing client expectations and raising appropriate issues within the client team and Client Relationship Directors

  • Researching, analysing, designing, or delivering client work across the solutions offered in the Talent Management and Organizational Alignment practice

  • Continuing client relationships beyond the initial engagement, identifying additional ways to be of service and maintaining our position as a trusted advisor to their businesses

  • Collaborating with colleagues both within the practice and across Willis Towers Watson, to build our intellectual capital and take advantage of our multiple connection points with our clients

Your success will be determined both by what you do and how you do it. Your individual performance will be evaluated based on a number of factors, including your attainment of defined personal and financial goals, contribution to business growth, coaching of others both junior and peer level colleagues and more. You will also be assessed on how well you demonstrate Willis Towers Watson's valued behaviors of Client Focus, Integrity, Teamwork, Respect and Excellence.
